What is mafia?

Basically, I'll have a theme and a cast of characters.

The majority will be the 'town,' or the good guys, essentially. You won't know each other, but you will vote one off at a time in an effort to eliminate the mafia - the handful of bad guys who want to do away with the town and win by eliminating them.

It's mostly about convincing one another that you're innocent, or if you are mafia, being a good enough liar to get by.

The mafia members will know who they are. There may also be what is known as a third party, whose winning condition may be altogether different from town or mafia, and acts as a sort of wild card.

There will be different phases, Day One, Night One, etc. During the day, you discuss who, of anyone, you want to lynch and kill off from the game. During the night phases, you tell me what action you want to take.

Mafia is lovely. We play on the board I used to fed on. I'm in.
