Peter Gilmour was asked about the challenge from duke and his partner. He had this to say:

Peter: seems everyone wants a piece of me and the tag belts. Well like I said I'm a fighting champion so duke, I accept your lame challenge. You say I'm fat, gee get in line with the other assholes who've said that. It's real lame dude. Just like this challenge. I dont give a rats ass who your partner is. Me and my partner and yes I have a partner will destroy you and we will make the tag belts relevant again. But duke, when you and the entire XWF sees my partner, all I will say is you better be prepared to get your neck broken. My partner is a beast and we will run through anyone that stands in our way of dominating the XWF. So we will see you on the 13th. But on the day before valentines day, we will give you a nice big present. That present is your bodies being beaten beyong recognition.

Duke, get ready because me and my partner are going to kill you.
