Everyone turns to look at NK, who smells like a casino and looks like he hasn’t been outside in a few days. The meager light in the locker area is causing him to squint like he’s staring into the sun.

”Now that you mention it, I DID have a paltry smidgen of fun betting on wrestling when the last opportunity came around!”

His tremoring hands shiver into his pockets to retrieve currency…
