Some of everyone

(cheered; very rarely plays dirty but isn't lame either; many likable qualities)

Folks, I wanted to kind of revisit the 24/7 shots that we all know and love and that have been a staple of XWF for quite some time.

There was a brief period where these things were being handed out left and right, and I was never a fan of it. As we move towards more storyline oriented angles, etc., having a bunch of people cashing in all the time is just going to be disruptive.

Plus, as we have seen in years past, a lot of people simply want to cash in after a long absence just to get their turn with the Uni Title, then they fuck off again forever. That's lame.

SO

Here's what I want to do. Currently there are technically ELEVEN cases floating around out there. I'm going to cut that number down drastically by wiping the ones older than 2014 right off the board. I think that's a fair time frame because it's a good 5 year span, and it covers how long I have been around to have any sort of personal understanding of circumstances, etc.

ALSO

Technically speaking there are two people out there with double cases. Both of whom have not been around in over a year. I think both of those guys are probably good to come back at some point and make a legitimate run, even if it's somewhat brief, so I won't just strip them clean - but I think knocking them down to just one apiece is fair.

BUT

In so allowing these "older" case holders who have not really been around and may or may not be around a chance to keep the reward they did earn, I am going to put a clock on it. I'm going to set a limit moving forward of ONE YEAR from the time the case is awarded that it must either be cashed in or simply forfeited. Obviously I don't want to retroactively start the count for the current case holders like Vita who recently became our latest case winner.

THEREFORE

As of right now, we will have FIVE active case holders, as follows.

Justin Sane - Reduced from two cases to one. Six months to use it or lose it.
Unknown Soldier - Reduced from two cases to one. Six months to use it or lose it.
Morbid Angel - Six months to use it or lose it.
Jim Caedus - Six months to use it or lose it.
Vita Valenteen - 12 months to use it or lose it.

My logic here is simple - everyone on this list other than Vita has had PLENTY of time to cash in if they wanted to. These 24/7 cases should be rare and nearly impossible to attain. The X-Title method is the most typical way to get one, and we may need to revisit ways to make it a bit more difficult there. Other than that, we will have one as the prize for Leap pf Faith as always, but not at other events. I know that Sarah Lacklan was told she could have a briefcase as a reward, and I'll honor that if that's what she decides to go with because it wouldn't be fair to just go back on the word of the GM team like that, but there won't be as many opportunities going forward because I want to avoid these kinds of pile ups.

Let me know if you have any questions!
