Jingle bells begins playing in the background as a snowy version of the Griffin's nest logo appears on the screen before cutting to Griffin and Chris in the Empire conference room. The table in front of them is covered in presents and the guys are wearing santa hats. "Merry Christmas," they shouted as they danced around the screen.

"It's time for an XCW tradition we decided to bring here for you guys. The griffin's nest christmas special!" They said in unison as they walked over to the present table.

"The first thing we do on these little shindigs is open gifts. This first gift says 'to Griffin, from Chris Storm' oh boy it's for me." Griffin said as he began ripping through the Twisted Sister wrapping paper. "Why look, it's the final edition of XCW:ground zero for playstation 3, featuring the Empire. What a kind and thoughtful present Chris." Griffin said as he opened the box. "Oh look, it even includes the download code for my cookie alternate attire."

"Glad you like it old buddy," Chris said, "now let's see what you got me." He began ripping through the paper to find himself staring at a book. "Griffin didn't you give me your autobiography last year?" He said with a confused look.

"Ya, but then you gave it to my girlfriend Alex you son of a bitch, plus this copy has a forward by Clint Collins."

Chris threw the book aside and picked up the next present. "Alright this one says 'to Mark Flynn from the Empire.' Let's see what it is. Oh how nice," Chris said as he saw the book inside, "it's a scrapbook showing all of Flynn's title defenses. This is actually really cool. Did you put this together yourself Griffin?" Chris asked. Griffin nodded his head so Chris pulled out a piece of paper. "I put together a scrapbook of all your defenses too. Sorry it's so short."

"You know what, do we need to go through your win-loss record?" Griffin asked as he picked up the next present. "Look this one is for Griffin Macalister."

"Pretty sure you screwed up his name," Chris said.

"My show I can pronounce names how I want," Griffin said in retort. "Oh look, a name tag." he held it up so the viewers could see it read 'hello my name used to be Griffin.'

"I bet that will came in handy after your battle for Griffin name vs. name match that is on the horizon," Chris said as he opened a present for L.H harrison. "Oh cool, it's a book of all his inspirational quotes...Griffin I swear to god if you don't stop scrapbooking I'm gonna f--"
The feed cut to a technical difficulty screen before returning to the show with Griffin now in the ring with one final gift wrapped up.

"Ok look," Griffin said, "this one is for Cain. And look, it's a cane. Which means it's time for what the weapon." As Griffin was about to call Terry into the ring Chris gets a phone call. He walks around before hanging up and coming into the ring.

"Damnit Griffin, I told you Christmas isn't in fucking August. Every year you do this to me, last year it was July, the year before that was October, either buy a goddamn calendar or stop doing goddamn Christmas specials," Chris said before storming off.
