There she is. The little girl that hasn't had a fair fight in the world, but remains a survivor. Lacey has had quite the history already in the XWF that would have its toll on any young child, but her, she's remained strong. She's come out on top and conquered more than what any one person should have to. She never knew Eric Rex and his Academi group were actually using her to get to Eric's enemy, KnightMask. She didn't have a clue about his intentions. She probably didn't care to think about why she was with Eric or even want to know. Lacey was just happy to have someone care about her, even if it was fake.

Eric's main focus was to get revenge on KnightMask. It was all he wanted. Well, that and to make Wallace Witasick's life a nightmare. Poor Lacey was in the middle of a feud that she seemed a little oblivious about. She didn't care. She had a father figure in Eric Rex and she was happy to do whatever he wanted. He spent time with her and she enjoyed every bit of it.

Around this time, it's when Lacey was starting to turn Eric Rex into a real father. Eric, still wanting his fight with KnightMask and to mess Wallace's life up, was turning soft to his pretend daughter. The more he spent time with her, the more he began to wonder if he loved her. The more she looked at him with those innocent child eyes, the more he felt like he was her father. That bond that was never suppose to be, became existent. Lacey had gained a father. Not a pretend one, but one who actually seemed to love her back. Eric had gained a daughter.

Enter Eli James IV. Eli's goal was to help The Academi, at least it's how it looked at first. Eli gave Eric lots of money. An orphanage was burnt to the ground by an employee of his dressed as KnightMask. As a result, Eli helped Eric continue his plan. Eli gave more money to Eric to rebuild an orphanage to prove Eric's compassion towards the orphans.

Eli knew that your sins will either destroy you now, destroy you later, or turn you to the light. Sins do odd things to a life, even when they don't notice it. It may be why Eli has a strange power over people. He knew Eric's revenge filled heart would change him. He knew Eric wanting to be a loner would haunt him and push him to a strange world.

Eli may look like a old fashion southern hick preacher with no smarts. That's what it can look like on the surface, but we all know by now Eli is a bit deeper beneath.

Eli was smart not to attack Eric physically. He knew it was pointless to attract Eric away with money. Eric was a simple man. He wanted Eric to be in the Congregation as a member, as a part of the family, not as a worker. That's when Eli saw the one person Eric trusted and saw as his only friend.. Sal.

Sal was a lawyer who became close friends with Eric Rex. They both loved money. They both were similar in many ways, and maybe that's why they made a good team. Eric didn't trust Eli all that much, but would always confide in Sal. Eli spoke Sal's main 'love' language: money. Money talks, especially to Sal. The more Eli lavished Sal with money, the more Sal's ears perked up and would do and believe what Eli told him.

Eli used Sal's own greed for money to change the depth of his soul. Once Eli had Sal's heart and mind for his using, as an instrument, he began his plan.

Eli started to work on Lacey. He showed her love. He paid attention to her when he saw her. Lacey trusted Eli. He gave money to Eric. He helped build a new orphanage when he really didn't have to. Her Uncle Sal trusted him, so why shouldn't she? Eric was still hesitant to trust this man. Eric didn't really believe in a god. It gave a strong reason not to trust this man who preaches about it.

Eli started to get in Eric's head by this time. Calling his name Elisha instead of Eric. Getting Sal to call Eric by the name Elisha. Sal had new commercials that reflected Eli's preaching. Lacey, with the possibility of her getting taken away from Eric. It was piling on Eric Rex and beginning to make him go a bit crazy.

Eric and Eli won the tag team titles, but regardless, Eli knew what had to be done. The Academi was destroyed. Eric Rex was crucified and burned to nothingness. Where did Eric go?

The story that's making its way around is Eric actually ended up at The Village. That dark place Eli goes to. Where people are zombies without any electricity. Where it always seems a bit overcast and never sunny. In The Village, we've learned there's a barn where screams are heard all the time. All. The. Time. It never stops. Screams of pain, and sometimes screams with laughter in the mix. Nobody knows what happens inside the barn, except Eli.

No one has been seen leaving the barn except for Eli. No one has been seen going in the barn except Eli. The talk began making its circle about Elisha being the first one to enter the barn AND be released. It could be a place where mantra's are said nonstop.. punishment.. torture.. nobody is really sure. Eli doesn't talk about it much. Regardless, Eric Rex was transformed from the cocky, arrogant man he once was. He was now a monster. The only thing in common with Eric Rex and Elisha is that little sweet innocent girl: Lacey.

At least, that's what was seen for months. Lacey was sweet and innocent. She was a normal girl who wanted to be loved. Since the monster, Elisha, has appeared and they have joined Eli's world.. she has changed. Or maybe she is just being herself. Some wonder if Eli sent her to Eric as a big plan all along. Rumors swirl that Lacey Rex has adopted Eric's whole being.

Now, the roles have been reversed. Eric was the protector of Lacey. He comforted her when she was hurt. Eric was the parent, and Lacey was the child. Now... Lacey is the parent and Elisha is the child-like monster. Lacey is the comfort to Elisha's madness.

Two of a kind. A strangely knitted family. Lacey and her son, the monster, Elisha.

Today. It's dark. The sun is going down. Noises from all kinds of animals are heard. We're in the middle of the woods with no one around for miles. A small cave is in the distance. A fire flickers inside.

There she is. Lacey. Lacey Rex. Sitting in her home.

"Sebastian Duke. Griffin MacAlister. I don't understand you two. Why do you wanna hurt my son? Why are you against Uncle Eli? He built a home for children when it got burnt down by that mean man, KnightMask. Uncle Eli gave me new shoes without holes in them. They flash with each step I take. I've never had anything like that before.

I know. It's about fighting. He's always wanted to protect and fight for them who do good. I guess that means you two are bad guys.

Why would you want to hurt me? Why do you want to hurt a little girl like me? Does it make you happy on the inside to hurt poor, little girls? That's mean. We don't like mean people. I remember trying to color inside a picture one time and a mean man took my crayons away. Just because I wanted a pink duck and that wasn't right. I don't like mean people.

Uncle Eli said if my son and our friend, Mystica, beat you two then you get to join the family. I hope so. Uncle Eli can help you two with your meanness. He sure can. I'd love to show you two my swing set. We could play hide-in-go-seek. We would have so much fun! Uncle Duke and Uncle Griffin, I sure hope you two get to come live with us.

I..

A man's voice is making mumble noises. It sounds really close to Lacey. Close enough to make her pause what she's about to say and look around. There he comes. Elisha. He drops a dead duck on the steps in front of Lacey. Elisha sits beside her, except a step below.

"D-D-D-D-Dinner. Mom.

"He's such a sweet son. Always getting me what I need. I was just talking about Uncle Duke and Uncle Griffin.

"Diediediediedie. T-T-T-T-They fall. Falldie.

"My son is so smart. You're right, son. If they choose the same path they've been on, they'll fall and die.

"Life. LIFE! Life good. Eli. Praised. Dukedukeduke.. GRIFFIN... n-n-n-n-now you see.

"They sure will, Elisha. Sebastian Duke and Griffin MacAlister could have life if they wanted it. All they would have to do is listen to Uncle Eli and obey what he says. They see the writing on the wall, don't they Elisha?

"W-W-Word is life. Eli word. Y-Y-You ignore and you die. Fall in d-d-d-d-darknessdarknessdarknessnolightnolight.

"Eli teaches us that obedience and sacrifice is needed.

"SACRIFICE! H-h-h-hahaha.

Elisha flees away with Lacey smiling at her crazy son running off into the dark woods leaving her alone. She doesn't seem to mind. She knows her son and her son's partner are the two toughest monsters and won't let harm come to her.. or to Eli's camp.

"Mr. Duke and Mr. Griffin. When you guys come home, and we get to play outside, we can tell stories. I love stories. I want to hear where Mr. Griffin came from. I want to hear Mr. Duke's deepest fears. They sure are tough guys. Mean guys. I think we can help, though. It's what this place is all about. Helping. Finding what's lost. That's what the Book of Eli says.

Let me go grab the Book of Eli so you can hear some things. I don't think Uncle Eli will be upset if I read you some.

Lacey reaches over and picks up a large, leatherbound book. She flops it open on her lap.

"I love this page. It's one of my favorites of his writings.

[color=#FFFFFF]Lacey's facial expressions change a little. She looks at the dead duck her son brought her earlier. Her mouth starts to water and she starts to lick her lips in hunger. Elisha comes back with some fish in his mouth.. still flipping and flopping around. The two start eating the food as it lays there on the steps.

Blood is flowing from their mouths. Strange gargling noises coming from Elisha as he tears into his food. Lacey eating hers like she hasn't eaten for days.

Lacey continues her meal while Elisha spits out pieces of fish. Lacey lays a hand on his shoulder, tilts her head back, and starts to shake. Elisha starts talking.

'Do not look at your surroundings and tremble at what is before you. You are not them. You are not here. You are only in a temporary dwelling place that's weak. It's your flesh. It's the body that feels aches and pains. It's the skin that gets marks and scars. No matter who is in it, it will fail. It's destined to die. You, within, shall leave and enter into a place of rest. Eternal rest with eternal rewards that do not rust away nor die.

War is embraced because it sends the bodies to the ashes of the Earth, and sets the soul on the journey to the Almighty. There, before Almighty, justice is served. A sentence is given. Eternal Life or Eternal Death.

Therefore, do not fear a mere mortal man. For what can a temporary do to an eternal? Eternal life lies within your house. Death can only free your soul to its true resting place: home with Almighty.

Do not fear what this world will give. You will be labeled crazy and be called haters of light. People will mistake love for hate, light for darkness, mercy with delay. People will run and never stop because they can't know rest without Almighty. They will always have a form of truth with them, but only to what's been revealed before everyone's eyes.

They will be told, but it will seem like words jumbled together. It will bring confusion and anger, rather than truth and love. They will believe their own pit leads to the end. Lies is what they'll believe. They will die for their lies before they find the truth.. even when the truth has been here all along.

Uncle Eli is so wise and smart. Without him, there would be no son of mine.

Mr. Duke and Mr. Griffin. Even if you win, I sure hope you boys come home. I really do.

Lacey stops eating her raw duck. She stares at the ground and starts shivering as if she's cold. She presses her hand harder into Elisha's shoulder.

"Only a fool resists truth. When a man is lost in a dessert without a map, compass, or any sort of direction... when a man has been lost for several years there.. all he thinks about.. all he's consumed with.. is water. Water is life. He comes to a river and runs with all his might to get a drink. He discovers the water is not fresh. It tastes different. He leaves in search of another river, except a clean one.

The river was perfectly fine to drink from. It was just a little dirty than normal.

He's a fool! A fool! A fool!

You had the chance to come to get life from the words of the life giver, and you disobeyed. You flat out refused because you thought there was another lake around to satisfy your needs. You will keep searching, but never find water again. You may not like how it taste, because you've been so use to your own way, so you left. You didn't want to drink life.

Duke and Griffin. You both sat and waited. Purpose to finally come. You held onto anger, revenge, and frustration. You sat in the desert waiting for the lake to appear. THE LAKE APPEARED! You dismissed it because it wasn't what you were expecting. You wanted the lake to look a certain way.

Fools. Life was given on a platter to you and you just turned away. ME?!?!

I was never given life on a platter. Eli saw the monster within and knew I had to come out before I ever could partake. I was sacrificed. I had to be. I had to be. My sacrifice was in exchange for a new life. The monster had to come alive for life to ever be on my front door!

How easy it was for you to accept, and yet, you took a fools way out.

A fools way in you shall reap.

Lacey gives a smile with blood all over her face from eating. She starts eating again like she snapped out of a trance. Is she using Elisha to speak? Elisha stares at his mother eating.

"GoodGoodG-G-G-Good?

"Of course it is, Elisha. I'm a very proud mommy!
