Once a month, bRiaN sTorM takes part in a glorious event, Junkyard Tuesday! On this day of the month Larry gets in a new shipment and in order to make room, older stuff is sold for cheaper prices. bRiaN never misses a month and Larry always sets aside a special pile for him to look through. After a long drive, bRiaN pulls his truck up and is instantly greeted by Rex and Buttercup (Larry's two rottweilers) as soon as he exits his vehicle. Both are happy and excited to see bRiaN and when they run up barking, he immediately drops down to their level and gives them kisses and rubs. He is stuck there for several minutes on the ground before he eventually gets up and then makes his way over to Larry, where he greets the junkyard owner with a hearty handshake that's pulled into a hug. Then Larry leads bRiaN over to the stockpile of things he set aside just for bRiaN to look through and bRiaN's eyes widen in delight at the heap of treasures before him. Selecting several items he thinks will be useful and a few random parts that he needs to fix some of the broken things at home and around the farm.
After paying Larry, the two share a cigarette break and chat, while Little Larry boxes up bRiaN's haul. Little Larry is a hard worker and does his best to help his dad at the junkyard but he can get a touch absent minded or easily distracted. Why there was this one time, when that boy was handling a new shipment and instead of putting it all where the things could be organized and placed in the appropriate areas for folks to rummage through and buy, he put everything in the spot where stuff went before it was brought to the incinerator. Lost Larry a good chunk of change on that blunder and cost Little Larry, the yearly buck hunting trip, a punishment dealt in the hopes of teaching him to pay attention. Little Larry was also banned from sorting new inventory, till he learned that lesson.
Now Little Larry mostly boxed up purchases and readjusted objects into their former preexisting piles, at the end of the day after it all was gone through and strewn around. Jobs that he did well, for the most part but not perfectly. Which explains why bRiaN finds a laptop, within one of the boxes that he unloads, when he's back at home. Our hometown hero is a lot of things but being technologically advanced or even having the simple, basic understanding of how to operate a computer, are not parts of that list. bRiaN didn't just not like computers and everything associated with them, he thought they were evil and getting them to work involved some kind of voodoo or witchcraft. And when he realizes what he's holding, after removing it from the box, he screams, drops the laptop and runs from the room. Refusing to return until he obtains help with dealing with the foul machine.
"Boy oh boy the last time I faced ol' Petey in the ring, he didn't lay a hand on me, in fact none of his entire team touched me. They all cheered as I disposed of the idiots I got stuck with on my team and continued cheering as I walked to the back. I could say that maybe that was a sign of respect but I know better, Gilmour was just toeing the line. Shane probably gave the order to leave me alone and he obeyed, out of fear of falling out of Shane's good graces."
"It's sad but understandable and if I were a mudfish like Gilly, flopping around in the wet sloppy muck and dirt, I'd do the same thing. But I am not Peter Gilmour. I have a backbone and I can admit defeat at the hands of others. That includes failing to anticipate an attack before a match as well. I should have known that Chris Chaos and Ares would do such a thing and I failed to ready myself for it. So they got the upper hand and were successfully able to ambush, myself and Donovan. A cheap shot but still a fault on me."
"That's the way I see it and I refuse to hide behind it or use it as an excuse and blame Ares and Chaos for my loss. That's what a child would do. That's what Peter Gilmour, would do. And I won't stoop to his level. I will kick his ass though. Cause where I failed before, I will prevail in the future. On Warfare I am going to beat Peter and show the world that just because someone gets knocked down, doesn't mean they can't get back up. Be warned Gilmour, I am not only going to come at you with everything I got, I am going to go straight through you."
