People often go about their business without taking a few seconds from their schedule to look around and soak in the mystery. Most people are either in their homes, off to work, or about to lay down for a nights rest when night time approaches. This night... I soak in the mystery.

Eli is outside looking at the stars without much other light interference.

"Ya look up and see a nice little star burning for everyone to see. The mystery is because it takes so long for light to reach us from out there.. that star may not even exist at this very moment.

It's how so many live their lives. They think they live because they breathe some air and have a pulse. That's not livin', man. That's just existing for the sake of existing. People just go and drift off into their own little bubble, and never really grasp the concept of living.

Mark, you're one of those people.

You beg me to talk, and in the midst of your waterfall of words, you miss the truth.

You are going to and fro, throughout this world just moving along and never stopping to look up at the stars. You know the stars are there. You've probably glanced up once in a while and can remember that speck of light, but you never admired the mystery. You walked right by the truth the gazed into your eyes because you were so busy... talking.

Why do you want me to answer your questions, Mark? Will that fulfill your life? Will that make sense of all the blabber you spoke? Would it help you get through the day?

Sometimes, it's good to answer those who oppose ya. But, more often... it's better to be silent. A fools words always come back like a boomerang.. you just have to give it time.

I don't stoop to the level you'd like me to. I'm above your little desire and obsession.

You may call what I had to say weak.. disappointing.. but I call it patience. There's no need to throw a pearl before swine. There's no need to answer a fool. There's only need to speak truth and the fool will find his way into the pit he dug for himself. It's about waiting for the right time, man.

I love how ya ever-so-clever self told me ya never asked about NASA. Heh. You missed the whole point, Mark.

When your momma sat down with you while you were a child and read you a book about the ugly duckling.. did ya say "I didn't ask you to read this"? When you were in school and they were teaching you how to add, subject, or even spell words.. did you say to your teacher, "I didn't tell you to teach me this"? No, they do so because they knew more than you. They did so to help form you into someone going in the future. They were giving you tools...

Mark, I was just giving you tools... but I see what a waste it was for those teachers.. for your parents.. for everyone who ever invested in you.

You talk, and never listen.

You analyze, when it's time to accept.

You beg for answers, when you should start asking the right questions.

I've never made an excuse about losing.

I lost in an Elimination Chamber match within weeks of my arrival here. People saw a competitor. I went on to win matches and become hated by many. I became a champion. Now, people started to fear me and talk about how I never lose. Heh. I lost way before this made its way to peoples mouth.

Not once did I ever tell the world I was unbeatable. Never did I parade myself as unbeaten.

Angelus leaped for joy when he, and several others, defeated myself and the Congregation in a War Games match. He screamed that he beat me. He yelled at the top of his lungs that Eli James lost... Eli James passed out. What did I say? Of course I passed out. When someone's being choked and the oxygen stops.. they pass out.

I breathe oxygen. I bleed. I am in a human vessel like everyone else. It's not rocket science.

Angelus believed in this hype that I never started. People, like you, needed an evil villan to conquer. They needed to find the bad guy so they could rise and become the good guy.

You beg for my answers because you need them.

You wanted this match, not to sell Mark Flynn 2.0 is tough. You wanted this match so you could shower down praises from everyone that you beat Eli James.

You actually think I clothe myself in wins? Hehe.

You think my eye sees gold and I lust after it?

Before people started to fear me... I preached a message of truth. I preached that I was about the Almighty's ways and I was never about wins, losses, or material gold. You.. and everyone else.. put those labels on me.. because you just cannot understand the mystery that is me.

You want me to be like everyone else...

That if I lost, I would leave.

That if I lost, I would cry.

That if I lost, I would collapse and be confused about what to do next.

Mark, if you beat me.. do ya know what I'll do the next day? Preach my message. Your victory is not my loss. I do not lose.. in terms that matter.

You ramble so much because you don't know what to say. All you can do is talk, think on the past, analyze, and beg me to talk. That's Mark Flynn.

I am a mystery you won't solve, Mark. I am not your simple equation that has an easy formula.

You said, "Your goal was to reclaim this planet for the being who created it." No, that was never my goal. This world is evil. It's dark. It's not my home. Why would I want to reclaim it? There's another world already created that's waiting for the saints, man. My goal, Mark, was to preach truth. In the process, to save some and to show mercy.. but never to reclaim.

See, Mark.. there you go putting words in my mouth and trying to understand my message.

I hear you try to understand my message, and then I look at yours.

Simplicity.

Ignorant.

Foolish.

Wasteful.

An eternal circle.

Why yell, Mark? Do my words pierce your soul? Have I caused you pain? Or are ya frustrated that you just can't figure it out?

"My God is the Spirit of Vengeance himself," and yet I thought you called it and IT. Is your god an it or him? Is your god wrath or vengeance? If you have multiple gods, then where is the Creator of those?

You seem so confused, Mark. I could have saved you from all of this, but you want to sit in your ditch and talk.

You want to compare your transformation from people in the Bible.. then let's do it. You compared your transformation from Saul to Paul.. then.. consider me the transformation between Creator.. Yahweh.. to Jesus Christ.

Don't worry Mark... you'll always be 1.0 in my book."
