In the rules it states: "No pin attempts can be made while there is an open (within the 12 hour period) pin attempt. Even if it is your own pin attempt that is currently open. If anyone creates a new pin attempt while there is an open pin then both pin attempts will be voided."

When that rule was made, and this rule implies it without necessarily stating it out loud is that when it refers to creating a new attempt, that DOES NOT mean a new attempt within an already active pin attempt thread.  That rule ONLY applies when there's two SEPARATE active pin threads, and NOT when there's an attempted pin within someone else's pin thread.  Gorgo's attempted interference in Dyson's pin does not count and Marisol Vilaro would have needed to kickout.

I will clarify that rule on the forum next time I go "backstage."
