What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...or...that's how it was supposed to be but Vegas secrets always had a way of following one home. There had to be an easy two thousand unmarked graves in the desert and if you were quiet enough, you could still hear their cries.
The penthouse was nice, quiet...which was saying a lot since I was living at the Venetian hotel on the Vegas Strip but I stared out of the large window overlooking the busy Strip. There was something off at Alexandra's loft and the tension between myself and Michael was getting worse.
I don't know why he would try to hide anything from me...I'm a vampire...not some idiot. One of the twins kicked and I flinched, they were growing faster than I was expecting and I knew at some point, I would have to go to Nova...or God Forbid, NAZI to get some sort on information...
The door opened slowly, causing me to look at the reflection of the person walking in, Can I help you?

Only the best words you can use to start a conversation, or when you barge uninvited into a vampire's home. Either way, that's exactly what I just did. I reach into the pocket that contained my pack of cigarettes and lit one up, pressing it to my lips.

I take a drag and exhale, filling the room with smoke. Sighing in relief, I fall backwards into the waiting clutches of a couch, or chair (fuck it, I really didn't care what it was.) The room spun around me, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I was about to crash right there. I really hope I don't.

I smirked softly as Jessie collapsed on the couch, poor girl looked dead on her feet.
You should sleep, it would be horrible if you were to get hurt at the Show.
Another smile and I finally walked over to her, snatching the smoke from her hand and putting it out in water.
I do pay a lot of money for the suite, I would hate to be evicted because a visitor cannot follow the rules.

Wrapping myself up in the embrace of the blanket; I seem to have fallen into that odd, tired stage when each personality molded itself into one. Feeling my eyes force themselves closed, I turn my head to where I assume she is.
