Movie Script Idea - Great Buzzard Eli James IV - 09-23-2013
I'm working on my second movie script, and was curious what you think of the idea (SPOILERS!).. basic plot:
A guy, in the army, goes overseas to fight in the war. He writes letters to various people that's in his life (wife/girlfriend, parents, friends, etc.). When he gets to go back home, he's greeted by FBI(?) for questioning regarding murders. He's informed that everyone that he knows has been killed by a serial killer and they question anyone he may know.. etc.
He goes out looking for the killer and trying to solve the puzzle. Eventually, he locates the killer and gets knocked out by a weapon. When he awakes, he's in a room handcuffed to a chair wearing white clothes with the killer dressed in a suit. They are sitting at a table, like a police questioning room somewhat.
It's revealed that the 'army' guy is actually the killer, but the only way he could kill was to place himself somewhere else while he did the killing. The killer he's searching for and finds.. is actually a psychiatrist who is trying to figure out why he did it at the end.
And bring in the thoughts...

I gotta be honest it sounds awesome. Really captivating just from your summary. And I agree with Nova about the syringe thing. It would tie in well with the actual premise.
I have written several stories. Usually my crowning achievements were comedies.. A lot of them seemingly had no point and had the same recurring characters...and converting people to the flying spaghetti monster religion was a part of those. Aside from those I also wrote one about a band hitting the road searching for fame. Never typed it or anything and I still have the notebook.
I also wrote (started writing) a story called "NoWheresville" about a guy who sold his soul to the devil who ends up killing people in small town sending their souls to hell. And since I based some of the people in the story on people in my life(because I was a really angry person a while back) it started messing with me mentally and I never finished it.. I'd like to. It is just too much for me to handle. I know I ramble a bit, but I thought I'd share.
