Well, as you can see by the looks of the Warfare card, Stevie/Gary will not be able to use the number one contenders contract that he earned by holding the X-Treme Title for two weeks. He was injured in the ladder match and is expected to be out of action for 60 days!
With that being said, a new contender could not be established in time.
It could be that instead, the US Title will be defended in the 8/28 War Games match itself. More on that later!
