| The Director - The Director - 10-11-2025 The Director ![[Image: l-intro-1750693130.jpg]](https://www.slashfilm.com/img/gallery/squid-game-season-3-finally-reveals-how-the-front-man-won-the-game/l-intro-1750693130.jpg) Wrestler's Real Name: Undisclosed Wrestler Age/Date of Birth: Unknown Height: 6'4" Weight: 230 lbs Hometown: Undisclosed (Currently spends most of his time at his compound in Western Australia.) Alignment (Face? Heel? Antihero?): Heel Pic Base: Front Man from Squid Game (Masked only) Backstory/Important Character Details: Not much is known about the Director. He is the mysterious puppet master behind XXXVI and his valet CIX. The only disclosed information is he is a former XWF talent and he has a background in bare knuckle boxing. He seems to be a sadomasochist. Strengths: Can take a beating and enjoys it Weaknesses: Isn't always focused on winning, so much as hurting people Entrance Theme Music (Provide YouTube link as well as name and version): "Whiplash" by Architects https://youtu.be/C9CrT6iC7Cc?si=G9gjvaEClmROZWHY Ring Entrance (PLEASE write one out for use in match/show writing): The Director appears to silence initially, as he surveys the crowd, sitting on a gilded director's chair, with a black cloak at his back. "Whiplash" by Architects cracks the silence as four masked men, clad in all black, each mask bearing an X, O, triangle and square, respectively. As the music plays, they each grab a corner of the chair, lifting him and carrying him down the ramp like pall bearers. When they reach the end of the ramp, they set the chair down and X kneels down on all fours as the other three step aside. The Director stands, removing his cloak and handing it to one of the other masked men. He then steps onto X's back, using him as a human step stool to enter the ring. Once in the ring, he spins with arms outstretched, taking in the boos of the crowd. He then moves to one corner, where he sits on the middle turnbuckle and ropes like a throne. He enfolds his hands and awaits the start of the match. In-Ring Style (Technician? High Flyer?): Brawler 10 or More Standard Moves: German suplex Forearm smash Suplex Flying knee Spinning backfist DDT Reverse DDT (occasional moonsault variation a la AJ Styles) Back breaker Surfboard stretch Bulldog Headbutt Flying headbutt Any strikes Trademark Move Name(s): The Small Print Description(s): House Call a la Swerve Strickland (Diving side head kick from turnbuckle or other higher place, apron, announce table etc.) Finishing Move Name(s): The Whip Crack Description(s): Rainmaker clothesline a la Okada Finishing Move Name(s): Final Cut Description(s): Spirit Gun a la Ricochet Favorite Hardcore Attacks/Spots: Carries a whip to the ring and will use it behind the referee's back or anytime in an X-treme rules match. Will sometimes hide a lead plate inside the top of his mask and hit a head butt (like El Grande Americano) He wears black gloves in the ring and will take one or both off if he gets serious and sometimes slap his opponents with the glove itself. Gloves may also be loaded, so the referee will often want to check for it before matches. His goons, X, Triangle, O and Square usually go backstage before the match starts, but sometimes they will try to interfere on his behalf. Additional Notes (What are some things that they would ALWAYS do? Or would NEVER do?): He is not likely to opt-in for most shows, preferring to send XXXVI in his stead. Will not hesitate to cheat. |
