Mastermind was in his locker room pacing around,, waiting for his match with Monolith, when he suddenly pulls out his cell phone, and looks at a number. He stares at it. Then he rings the number.... He waits... and waits...
MARIA: "'M' is that you?"
Mastermind smiles.
MASTERMIND: "Yes it is. It's great to hear from you."
MARIA: "'I haven't heard from you for over a month, are you okay?"
MASTERMIND: "I just needed to hear from you, and...."
MARIA: "'And what 'M'?"
Mastermind looks over at the door. He speaks quietly.
MASTERMIND: "I miss you."
MARIA: "'See, was that just hard to say?"
Mastermind sighs, still looking at the door.
MASTERMIND: "I'm around men nearly every single day, staunch men, acting tough men, and it's a business, you can't be seen being, you know..."
Mastermind heard Maria laughing.
MARIA: "'Yes I know... Aren't you in China now?"
MASTERMIND: "Yes getting ready for my match with Monolith, I'm on soon, but I've got to face Ghost Tank on Monday in New Jersey too."
MARIA: "'Yes I see that, I do read the XWF Website to keep up with what you are doing."
Mastermind smiles.
MASTERMIND: "So I take it you're still keen on me?"
MARIA: "If you heard that is applied then..... Of course I am, you should know that."
Mastermind looks away, but he can't help but be happy.
MASTERMIND: "I'll be back in Wellington for a couple of days before heading to the States, can I take you out for a meal?"
MARIA: "That would be lovely.."
MASTERMIND: "I better get going.... Got my match very soon."
MARIA: "Okay, I'll see you soon.... Oh and 'M'."
MASTERMIND: "Yes?"
MARIA: "I missed you too."
Mastermind bowed his head, he was looking sheepish.
MASTERMIND: "Can't wait to see you."
MARIA: "Me neither... You better go.."
MASTERMIND: "Okay, I'm going.... Byeeeeeee."
Mastermind ended the call, and smiled.
"I've gotta run around chasing big fat men, and then I've got run around chasing Ghosts, what a life style."
Mastermind gets up, and places the phone in his bag. He then walks back over to the door, and starts preparing himself again.
