That's the sound of dripping water. Where am I? I am under neath the city.
Why am I under neath the city?

I am walking through water under neath the city. Again why am I under neath the city?
I think I'm lost. I've made a wrong turn. Sorry what was the question again? Oh yes why am I under neath the city? Why have I stepped foot outside my mansion? Why have I allowed myself to step out of my comfort zone?
Suddenly I hear foot steps. I stop. They're coming from ahead of me. Again what was the question? Why am I underneath the city?
I'm here to meet....
"Hello, Mastermind." he says, with a very Seinfeld-esque pause.
I stop frozen in time. There we are face to face. It's him. The Master of Death itself. Cain. He is telling me to follow him.
"Come, mortal. We have much to discuss."
I follow him quietly. Then we come to a place that is dry and we stop and talk.
"Why are we meeting down here Cain?"
"Normally, I kill those who question my methods. But no, Mastermind. The thing is, you and I as different as we may be, we must team Monday Night. Now, you know that that my nature is to kill. I am a predator. What I do is kill those who deserve to die. I will be their judge, jury, and executioner, so as long as you are okay with that then we are on the same page. Do you understand? I need you to have my back."
"Cain for this one night next Monday Night, I am your tag team partner. I will have your back 100 percent, I will trust you 100 percent, and if you have to kill, I will turn my back, and let you go about your work, but I would keep an eye out for you in case people will try to butt in."
"Good. You understand. This Monday night, we face a slut, a piece of trash, Tony Robbins on crack, and a no name who doesn't matter. But after this match, the mere act of facing you and I will make those very same people relevant. These very same people go from being our opponents to being..." his eyes flashed red for a moment as he stared me down."...victims."
I stand there spell bound...
I stand there frozen in time...
I can't move....
I want to move...
But he won't let me move... Yet...
Cain walks up to me and looks me up and down as if to say I am tempting him to kill me.
"You know...I could snap you like a twig, and snuff you out like that. But I will only do so if you screw me..."
I nod.... I gulp.... I nod again...
"I'm not afraid of you Cain. I can't get inside of your head, nor will I want to. If we ever meet for a one on one match, then I will try, but I promise you now I won't get inside your head."
"Good. Then we have an agreement. Just do me a favor and focus on our opponents, and not the darkness that is watching you."
Then it's done... He's done... Our agreement to be a team.. Our agreement to trust one another.... Our agreement to have each others backs for one night.... One night only.... It's done.... He's gone. I'm able to move again.... Breathe again...
I make my way out... back the way I come.... I make my way out from under neath the city... From the dampness of under the city to the skylight to bright light.
As I walk out into the street, he stands there watching from above, on the rooftop of one of the city's tallest buildings. Watching me.
Cain's Thoughts
I must keep my eye on this one. He is strong, not as powerful as I, but he soon will be. No matter, the Brotherhood has my back if he tries anything.
For one night we have an unspoken bond. To finish off Cobra, Fandango, and Harrison/Loverboy. For one night we must trust... Trust one another... And for one night... We end the teams and get the win...
