The difference between Time and Faith - Mastermind - 06-18-2014 Seconds..... Minutes..... Quarter Hour.... Half Hour.... Three Quarter Hour.... Hour.... Days... Weeks... Months.... Years..... Decades.... Centuries... TIME..... WHAT IS TIME? The camera fades into the Mansion of Mastermind, and once again he is found sitting in his chair facing the wall, and the back of the chair is facing the camera. "That is the question isn't it? What is time? And how do we measure time? We all know what time is don't we? Right now you are taking the time to watch me do my promo, and right now I am taking the time to do the promo. What I have just said is now in the past., confined to the past. In three days time is the future. The Pay Per View Leap of Faith. Between the past, the present and the future we are measured in Time. "Just take the first match for example, The Ark of the Covenant Title. That is a 20 Minute time limit match. That's just over a quarter of an hour. It's also extreme rules, where anything goes. So just surviving the 20 Minutes is going to be tough enough, keeping a hold on the Ark of The Covenant is harder still." Mastermind turned his chair around to face the camera. "Mr XWF, as if you already don't know, you'll be starting the match with the title, as the champion? But here's the question, how much faith have you got within yourself to finish the match champion?" Mastermind smirks. "The other four, Miss Alexandra Callaway, JJ Zilla, Soupcan O'Malley and Joey Hawkins, who do I think would be stiffest competition to stop me from pinching the title after 20 Minutes is up? It would have to be the beautiful Miss Callaway. She's the experienced one after Mr XWF, her looks could be the difference. One look at her and she'll probably catch us out with trickery that we won't see coming." Mastermind gets up and stretches his back. He walks across the room, and picks up a book. "Am I worried about what JJ Zilla, Soupcan O'Malley, and Joey Hawkins can do? Na, not really. At any stage they could pin the champion whoever it may be, so that's good for them, but it's up to me, myself and I to decide when the right time is, and strike. I have the faith, and the time to do that. I just need to take the leap. "It's all about timing. That's the lesson here. Timing. When to let people strike, and when to strike myself, because I know I am confident in this match, because I am that dam good." Mastermind opens his books, and reads it. He then smiles as he takes it back to his seat. "It only takes seconds, it may even take a minute, but I will be the next Ark of the Covenant Champion? Why? Because I deserve it. Not because I have a 3 win 3 loss record so far, no, but because it is my time. "It is my time, it is my faith, it is my leap. It is my title, it is who I am and what I am destined to be. The Ark of the Covenant Champion. Measure it in time. It only takes seconds if not minutes. I have to be the one to take the leap of faith, I have to be one to bring the timing, because no one else will. No one believes in themselves. I will take it, and it will be mine." Mastermind smiles, and turns his seat around to face the wall, and starts whistling. The camera fades out.
