The appalling weather conditions in Canada made SNOW JOB well worth the wait! XWF Original CHAD took the helm of the show, opening SNOW JOB by welcoming the fans, watching and preparing the evening on his iPad2. Backstage, a confrontation between a newly formed Tag Team. One half of the reigning Champions ADAM ABRAHAM came face to face with the man scheduled to replace the recently released SHAWN CHRISTOPHER as a result of his steroid abuse. TYSON RIGGS and ADAM ABRAHAM’S relationship seemed to head off to a rocky start, as the men who would be teaming to defend the Tag Titles ended up in a brief scuffle backstage! Stage-hands were able to separate the two, but could they co-exist to defeat FUZZ and TEH NOOBINATOR later in the night?
Elsewhere in the back, BARNEY GREEN was enjoying some snacks when he suddenly came face to face with none other than former XWF star ACE WYLDE! BARNEY and ACE discussed a possible return for the XWF Veteran, when they were abruptly interrupted by JOHNNY LEGEND, who displayed an act of disrespect by barging past ACE as he walked past. LEGEND continued to degrade WYLDE upon being asked if there was a problem, which resulted in ACE WYLDE taking out LEGEND with a vicious Modified Yakuza Kick! Then, it was time for an “All Over The Arena” Match with the Hart Title on the line! The match began as soon as the competitors arrived at the arena, practically at the same time! TNW, the reigning champion, took on “THE WRAITH” SCOTT CHARLOTTE. Starting off in the parking lot, but eventually progressed to the locker-room of the Toronto Maple Leafs and even to the Girl’s Bathroom! In the end, SCOTT CHARLOTTE made a decisive move, Spearing TNW down a flight of stairs! It was enough to get the three count, which gives us a NEW HART CHAMPION in the form of “THE WRAITH” SCOTT CHARLOTTE. But it didn’t finish there! After making his way to the ring, CHARLOTTE joined ASYLUM and “FATHER” in the ring to celebrate the victory. It seemed as though they were about to finish off TNW for good, when “THE WRAITH” made a dramatic U-Turn, setting “FATHER” on fire!
Ahead of his X-Treme Title defence, NIO took the microphone backstage to address his opponents one final time, before RW RANDOLPH and JONATHYN were seen going over a recent drugs test result on the man from Diablo Blvd. Next, WEAPON:ASHEN made a highly anticipated return to the ring to face THE DARK SHADOW and newcomer THE GREEN RANGER. In an impressive fashion, WEAPON:ASHEN destroyed the two inexperienced superstars and captured the victory within minutes! Almost straight after, DOUBLE G made his way to the ring to face JOHNNY LEGEND, but CHAD appeared from the back to inform us that JOHNNY LEGEND was on his way to hospital after an attack that took place backstage earlier in the night! ACE WYLDE’S savage attack was enough to keep JOHNNY LEGEND from competing, giving DOUBLE G the victory via Countout!
ANDY DEABS and his girlfriend JENNIFER LINCOLN went over how ANDY would intend on challenging and defeating NIO and BOBBY WRIGHT to win the X-Treme Title later in the night, before a heated confrontation took place between PETER GILMOUR and BARNEY GREEN! There seemed to be a high level of hatred between these two, but there was no time for GILMOUR to delay. The entire XWF Locker Room were crossing their fingers for PETER GILMOUR as he faced the three “trolls” who have been lurking around the XWF for weeks now! The loser or losers of this match would be presented with The Pink Slip! GILMOUR seemed to be in command of the match, before BARNEY GREEN suddenly hit the ring and prevented what should have been a victorious pinfall effort. GILMOUR was distracted long enough for CAPTAIN BASTARD, THE SHREDRER BOSSES and LORD OF ALL to capitalise, who took out GILMOUR with a Low Blow before the three trolls piled on top of GILMOUR for a three count! What does this mean!? THE TROLL SQUAD are free to continue with their mischievous shenanigans, whilst PETER GILMOUR is left with a Pink Slip!?
Next, ANDY DEABS and BOBBY WRIGHT looked to put an end to NIO’S long reign as X-Treme Champion! BOBBY WRIGHT was at an immediate disadvantage before the start after NIO surprised him with a sneak attack with a Steel Chair. Despite their best efforts, they could not overcome NIO, who took the pinfall after nailing ANDY DEABS with the X-Treme Title Belt just as DEABS took out WRIGHT with a Superkick. Then, CHAD was relayed a message from JONATHYN in the back regarding the night’s proceedings. But next, it was time for the return of FRAN DAMAGE as he faced PSYKO STEVO. If DAMAGE wins, he takes PSYKO STEVO’S place on the XWF TOP 50 Rankings! After an awkward landing after hitting a huge Jumping Dropkick, STEVO and FRAN were both laid out on the mat, when suddenly KORE appeared! THE XWF LEGEND KORE HAS RETURNED! KORE decisively rolled FRAN DAMAGE on top of STEVO, resulting in a victory for FRAN!
After their altercation earlier in the night, ADAM ABRAHAM and TYSON RIGGS were back on speaking terms ahead of their Tag Title Defence. Back in the ring, the crowd witnessed the arrival of an unusual superstar dressed in a cape. No, it wasn’t MIGHTY KID… but after performing an athletically perfect stunt on a skateboard, the crowd was dazzled by this newcomer, who simply had this to say… “WHOA…” Could this be the “SURFERHERO” that has been seen recently? Who is this masked man? And what does he intend to do here in the XWF? Back in the ring, the Tag Team Titles were on the line in a Ladder Match. The voted team of FUZZ and THE NOOBINATOR faced the patched-together champions TYSON RIGGS and ADAM ABRAHAM. The Champions quickly disposed of their opponents, but life was made difficult by the intervention of JACK TYLER! After the attack on all four competitors, TYLER left the ring. FUZZ and NOOBINATOR could not take advantage, as ABRAHAM and RIGGS sent their challengers to the outside with two “Freedom Fall” powerbombs. As ADAM ABRAHAM climbed the ladder, JACK TYLER reappeared in the ring once again, only to be Speared by TYSON RIGGS, who displayed raw aggression and power throughout the match. After sending JACK TYLER running for his life, TYSON RIGGS enjoyed his victory with ADAM ABRAHAM. Perhaps there is some hope for the Tag Champions yet!
Next up was yet another ladder match, this time it was “All Or Nothing” as The United States Champion KYLE SHANE went head to head with the man who replaced NEPTUNE after his sudden exit from the XWF last week, MIGHTY KID! There has been tension in the air surrounding this one after a particular brutal match last Anarchy! And this match was EVEN MORE barbaric! MIGHTY KID and KYLE SHANE put on an exhibition of violence and carnage in the ring, with both men having to be escorted out of the arena on stretchers only for them BOTH to return to the ring, determined to finish their personal war! In the end, it was a race for the briefcases above the ring, one which contained nothing inside, another with the United States Title, and a third containing a Golden Ticket! After both men crashed to the ground, they discovered the contents of their briefcases… MIGHTY KID’S briefcase contained The United States Title, making him the NEW UNITED STATES CHAMPION! But KYLE SHANE seemed delighted with his selection, the coveted GOLDEN TICKET! KYLE SHANE has the opportunity to challenge ANY champion on the XWF Roster… but it should be noted that BOTH MEN emerged with SOMETHING for their valiant efforts!
There was controversy in the back regarding the outcome of this match. CHAD declared that BOTH MEN were to be announced as winners of the match. KYLE SHANE seemed content with his Golden Ticket, but MIGHTY KID seemed somehow less enthusiastic, leaving CHAD with an ominous message. But there was no time to waste! It was time for the Main Event! Last Man Standing! World Title On The Line! HARDCORE SMITTY and RW RANDOLPH staked their claim to become World Champion, but they would have to outlast DANTE ANGLAIS to achieve it! Each men gave their all, but MIGHTY KID also made his presence felt, first stopping DANTE from attacking HARDCORE SMITTY with a Chainsaw, before delivering “Vicebreakers” to all three opponents! Despite MIGHTY KID’S intervention, all three men continued to fight until the end! RW RANDOLPH, SMITTY and DANTE were then buried alive in a giant snowdrift courtesy of MIGHTY KID, who seemed hell bent on causing as much havoc as possible! In the end, DANTE ANGLAIS and HARDCORE SMITTY crawled out of the snow at the same time. The referee awarded the victory to SMITTY, but acting General Manager CHAD appeared and declared DANTE ANGLAIS to be the winner. The referee reversed his original decision, thus causing DANTE ANGLAIS to retain the World Title…
But what happened next… NOBODY EXPECTED! HARDCORE SMITTY announced that as a result of his efforts at X-Mas X-Treme, he was awarded his own Pay-Per-View… BATTLE ON THE BOAT! The next XWF PPV will take place on the High Seas, and SMITTY is in charge! Not only that, but HARDCORE SMITTY also announced the return of THE UNIVERSAL TITLE! THAT’S RIGHT! THE UNIVERSAL TITLE IS BACK! AND IT WILL BE UP FOR GRABS IN AN OPEN INVITATIONAL AT BATTLE ON THE BOAT!
But MIGHTY KID was STILL not finished. After going for the Vicebreaker on SMITTY, SMITTY was able to counter and rip away MIGHTY KID’S mask! SMITTY went on the offensive, but MIGHTY KID countered whilst hiding his face beneath his cape, taking out HARDCORE SMITTY with a familiar looking move… “The Oblivion Crush Drop.” It was then that MIGHTY KID revealed his face for the first time… MIGHTY KID’S true identity is none other than JACK TYLER, the man who has been assaulting the World Title Contenders for weeks! The XWF’S superhero seems to have become the XWF’S most dangerous SUPERVILLAIN!
